I am quitting Dreams (reconsidered)

Games like Lock and Pig Detective are huge games that get loads of support from the devs and the community. The reason why Mm doesn't care about ambitious projects is because they usually aren't good. Most GOOD Dreams games are on the shorter side.

Sorry to see you go! Somewhat ironically, I found you ON the DreamSurfing page last night. Your work looks really great so far, particularly the weapons showcase. I'd encourage you to take a break though—I'd love to see more of your big project.

There are some like you, making larger games. Is it easier to watch shorts? Yes. But that doesn't mean longer games won't find an audience. Just be patient. Dreams was recently discounted so there might be many new users. Maybe they will find yours.

I hope you reconsidder but if not, it will be a shame to lose such a talented creator. All the best

Dreams is about unleashing your imagination, not getting attention... I've been playing since early access and am not big at all, but still I keep making things for my own sake. I'm not saying what you're doing is selfish, but... maybe reconsider.

It would be a pity man! I understand your point of view but things in Dreams are changing day by day and if there will be a certain amount of big games in the future, there will surely will be a category for them. Think about it, before quitting for good.

You really shouldn't let the effort go to waste. If you really want to make a game try to look into getting a better engine. Big games really aren't for Dreams at the moment.

Dreams is just 1 of many ways to make games.
Think it is not the right platform to make really big games.
