I like this, I created paper games as kid, this brings me back to those days. Thank you for this.

You've done a good job on the logic so far. I also think that I did a pretty good job on the player design. I made him a little sword to hold up, a sheathe to place it in and that little bit of lighter gray in the back is his shield. ^_^

It looks great so far, does the art have to be a simple map icon?
