I think it's a really nice start, it just needs more! Oh, also - the ill-fitting sound effects did make me laugh (I hope that was the point!) but in the end I think they're distracting. Recommend you replace them, but if it's deliberate, I understand!

Pretty cool! I like what you've done so far! I'm not much of a player of One-on-one fighting games, so I'm not sure what my input is worth, but I believe you should add plenty of combo moves and special attacks to diversify the gameplay.
