Love the concept, it kept stopping my forward movement though which became annoying.

I think the one button concept is really unique and you shouldnt lose it - a way to fix it is to just not have the option to stop, just make it so to run its X+X and to slow its just X, to make it flow way more and have a faster pace, something this needs

Charming game. i really like the art style, has a ps2 era nostalgia about it.
I would recommend moving the player further to the left, some of the moving traps enter the frame so closely and quickly that first time players barely have any time to react.
