That was enjoyable. The coin pickup sound effect could be more audible. Momentum from the character can cause you to fall in to traps even when you're not moving.

Good overall look and gameplay. Simple but effective.
Need more checkpoints. And the inertia on the puppet makes any kind of timing of your movement way harder than it needs to be.

The swinging axes could probably use a touch up as you can avoid them completely by hugging the wall and as said the lighting is a little dark in the first area but otherwise great work!

Great start! Some areas are a little too dark on the beginning. I got lost for a bit. I'll be back to check out more as it's updated.
