I hope this somehow helps. Keep up and this'll gonna be great! :)

Once you are happy with the animations, maybe add some climbing or sneaking mechanics.

And finally I would probably add some subtle sounds of water, wind and maybe birdsongs to further enrich the atmosphere.

Hey, what a great idea! Liked the atmosphere and really loved the oni-masked warriors.

Now as you asked for my opinion, here are some thoughts I had while playing:

I would increase the protagonists running speed to make the gaming experience more fluid. Also I would make her steps smaller, to achieve that ninja flair :) Furthermore you could consider to let her draw her sword automatically, once she's spotted.
